At the beginning of February, we babysat Tyler and Riley on a Saturday morning. We took them to Home Depot for the free activity for kids. They were building Valentine's day boxes. They loved it because they got to paint! Riley got the paint everywhere, on his hands and face and clothes. Tyler did a really good job painting his box. It was a fun morning.
Friday night, the night before Valentine's Day Kyle and I did our Valentine's day celebration. Saturday night, we had Stake Conference and Elder Nelson was speaking. It was worth going to. Elder Nelson is much more personable and funny in a smaller setting. Friday night we went and ate at Joe's on Grand in downtown Escondido. The owner is Italian and has been cooking for 30 years. The food was delicious and the restaurant is full of character. We both had chicken and loved it! The best part though was dessert. We got a cheesecake! It was drizzled with real melted chocolate! It was so yummy. Kyle says it is the best cheesecake he has ever had! We had a really fun night and enjoyed eating somewhere new!
I have THE BEST Valentine! So happy he is mine forever!
