Over Presidents Day weekend, we decided to get annual passes to the Zoo and Safari Park. It is well worth the price. Just going to the zoo once pays for it! We live very close to the Safari Park (which is better than the zoo anyways) and went on Presidents Day with Ian, Whitney, and Adelaide. We went to the Zoo the next weekend because the weather was beautiful. We saw the pandas without waiting in line. The mom was sleeping in the tree and the 3 year old was sitting on the tree. Pandas are always cute. The elephants were with the trainers and we got a front row seat with one trainer working with the elephant. The trainer was nice and had the elephant pose for some pictures. We also saw a pretty brand new baby gorilla laying on the mommy's tummy. It was so cute. We spent about 3 hours at the zoo. It is nice to have a pass so you can see what you want to see and not feel like you have to stay all day. Especially when it is just Kyle and I. We can walk through pretty fast.
