Back in April, about a month ago, among finals and graduation, it was my birthday on the 22nd. For my birthday I had to work, but in the morning Kyle made sure to make me feel special. He made me a delicious breakfast pretty early that consisted of chocolate chip pancakes. Yumm. Afterwards, I was ready for the day and by ten o'clock when everything opens in the world, kyle took me bday shopping for a graduation dress and then to get a cupcake from the sweet tooth fairy, which won a competition called Cupcake Wars on the food channel. It was delicious and perfect. After work, kyle picked me up and surprised me with having his sister michelle, and our super cute nephews, Riley and Tyler in the backseats of the car! When tyler saw me he said, Nana! And then michelle helped him sing happy birthday to me on the way to salt lake. We went to salt lake to meet up with family for cake and ice cream at my grandmas house. Kyle's parents were already there and my siblings were coming. We had delicious chicken pillows then homemade ice cream cake. It was sure fun having everyone there! The next day I didn't have work, so I spent the day with trudy and michelle. We all went out to eat for lunch then trudy took me to get my haircut and a pedicure for my birthday! It was incredibly nice of her! And that pretty much concluded my 22nd birthday. It was a lot of fun.
A week and a half later, it was Kyle's birthday! He turned 26 and every year he doesn't know how he feels about getting older. Haha. For his bday we went to the National Championship Rugby Game for Byu. It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun! And luckily, BYU won in the last second and last play of the game! It sure was exciting and worth going to. After the game we were hungry, so kyle chose korean food for his bday dinner. It was delicious. Then we went home to open presents and get the ice cream cake thawed out before our friends and my mom and aaron came over. I gave kyle a movie he wanted called Warrior, and then bought him a pair of Sperry's for summer because he needed nicer shoes, and he looks good in them. So everyone came over for cake and we got the perfect size from Baskin Robbins because we ate it all! It was a chocolate chip ice cream cake with devil food chocolate cake, delicious chocolate frosting with m&m's. It was so good! After cake, I surprised kyle with tickets to go see Iron man 3. Little did he know that later all of his friends and my mom and aaron would show up later to watch it with us! He had no idea, and the surprise was a success.
So that concludes Kyle and I's b-day festivities.
