Halloween Weekend

Dad and Roberta came into town the weekend before Halloween. It was so nice to see them and have a break from the normal school things and work. I got to have dinner with Dad Thursday night and he met Kyle for the first time. He is well liked by Dad, Roberta, and the family so far. I knew Kyle would be ok meeting Dad and Roberta, he was more excited than nervous. And what is not to like? ;)

On Friday we took ourselves and the nieces and nephews to Cornbelly's Maze in Thanksgiving Point. Mind traffic that is HORRIBLE because of the some what seems useless construction, fun was had by all at the corn maze. There were a lot of things for adults and kids alike so it worked very well and we wore ourselves out til we were tired and hungry. Everyone liked the maze and we found our way around and out! Saturday we all tried some good ol' bbq in Lindon at new place called The Smoking Apple. Nothin' like KC bbq still, but good enough that we were satisfied. The only thing I did wish was that they would have been a little bigger of servings since we did get family style. But all in all, good stuff. We also saw the movie Puss in Boots. My family are more cat people, so it was entertaining and a fun movie with good humor! Dad and Roberta left Sunday, but it was a fun packed filled weekend.

This week has been crazy ever since Monday. You know if you're Monday's are crazy, you just can't help but wonder what else is in store the rest of the week!
