How to Have a Great Birthday
- Receive delivered flowers from your boy who is on a mission!
- Splurge and Stuff yourself so much on dinner that you need to go to the bathroom in order to fit in dessert!
- Receive a birthday box from your missionary's family!
- Open that box to find that it includes a personal e-mail from him!
- Laugh and cry.
- Receive a phone call at midnight just to hear your cousin who is in Italy tell you Happy Birthday.
- Have amazing friends that make your phone die because all the texts that tell you Happy birthday drained your battery.
- Being grateful and loving every minute of it.

ReplyDeleteMy heart went out to you on Mother's Day wishing you could have talked to Matt. But, I thought of something that though it wont make it easier might help the alone feeling. My Aunt (She is only a few years older than Andrew) she met a guy before he went on his mission who wanted her to wait. He came back, was way interested in her and wanted to get married but she knew she had to go on a mission. He had to wait it out to. Anyway, good news was that she waited, then he waited and they have been married plenty long now. Keep smiling--some of the hardest things are the most worth it. We love you--Rebecca
